XITE College successfully conducted a National Conference on “Traditional Trends and Contemporary challenges in Business, Commerce, Humanities and Social Sciences” on 12th November 2022. The Conference was sponsored by the ICSSR, Eastern Regional Centre. The programme started at 10:30 am with Lighting of lamp and prayer dance.
The Principal, Fr. E.A. Francis, S.J. welcomed and felicitated the dignitaries, the VC of Kolhan University, (Chief Guest), Dean of Academic XLRI, Dr. Sanjay Patro, (Keynote speaker), the guests of honour and the audience. Fr. Mukti Clarence, S.J., Vice Principal and the Convenor of the conference introduced the dynamics of the conference. More than 65 papers were presented in five tracks. The paper presenters were from12 states and 23 universities. The technical sessions were chaired by Dr. Archana Sinha, Dr. P.K. Pani, Dr. D. K. Mitra, Dr. Manodip Roy Chowdhuri and Prof. Soma Sur.
Mr. Sakti Prasad Senapati, Chief HR Officer, RKF Ltd. and Mr. V.S.V. Giridhar, President, Amalgam Steel, Jamshedpur who were the guests of the valedictory session gave away the certificates to the paper presenters. It is indeed a matter of pride to organize an event of this level wherein participants from different states share their findings and learn from each other’s work. The entire program got over by 4.30 pm.
