Canteen

XITE College has a canteen for the students. It operates every day during the College hours except on Sundays and holidays. It provides various delicious food at a subsidised price to its students.

Campus Placement Assistance

XITE College has a Placement Cell headed by Prof. Sushmita C. Sen. The Cell Coordinator invites various Corporate Heads to the Campus and assists in finding placement to deserving students.

Computer Lab

XITE College has a Computer a Computer Lab with 40 PCs and they are connected with high speed internet for 24 x 7 and with the latest updates and software. The PCs operate on Windows 7/8.1, & Linux. Some of the other Soft-wares are: MS- Office, Tally 9.1 ERP, Java, C/C++, VB Basic, etc. The Lab is fully air-conditioned, user friendly and easily accessible during the College hours.

Industry Visits

Every year XITE, College organizes industry visit to its students as part of the academic activities. During the visits, the students are encouraged and motivated to interact with experts of the Unit/ Shop floor.

Social Visits

Every Semester, XITE College provides opportunities to its students to visit various rural villages and interact with people. These visits give the students rich and wonderful experience which they cherish for a long long time.

Internships

XITE College as part of its academic curriculum ensures internship to its final year students. Working with various people in different organizations/ industries of the students’ choice and specialization helps them to gain hands on learning experience.

Training on CAT, XAT, Banking, Railway, Tally, etc.

XITE College provides opportunities to its students who aspire for higher studies which require good grade in competitive exams such as CAT & XAT. Similarly, training in Banking and Railway helps the students who look for jobs immediately after the graduation. The advantage is that the College provides these facilities to its students at a subsidized rate within the premise during the academic year.

Communicative English & Soft-Skill

XITE College provides opportunities to its students who are weak in English and Communication through its Communicative English and Soft-Skill Certificate Program. The course is designed in such a way that the students discover their weakness and develop self-confidence. In the 21st Century, one cannot climb up in one’s professional ladder without having self-confidence and communication skill. The advantage is that the College provides these facilities to its students at a subsidized rate within the premise during the academic year.

Common Room

XITE College has two common rooms (one boys & one for girls). These rooms have various indoor games facilities such as Caroms, Chess and so on. The students make use of them during the recess and other free times to refresh their mind.

Medical

XITE College has a sick room with basic medicines to meet medical emergencies, as and when it requires. The College, in collaboration with Tata Steel Long Product, gets the service of a Physician at regular intervals and provides free service to the students who need it. Besides the Physician, there is also a trained nurse in the Campus to assist the students in need.

Conference Room

XITE College has a well equipped conference room and it is well used by the students for various cultural/social/academic competitions and celebrations. These occasions provides ample opportunities to the students to showcase their talents. The students benefit immensely from these activities.

Sports & Games

XITE College has a large playground with various sports and games amenities. The College organizes, every year, Annual College Sports Day and a large number of students take part in it. The College also provides amenities such as Basketball, Volleyball, Football Ground, Kabaddi, Badminton, Kho kho and so on.
