Xavier Day 2023
On December 2, 2023, XITE celebrated Xavier Day with enthusiasm and grandeur. The event was a confluence of various activities that showcased the diverse talents and vibrant spirit of the XITE family.
The event commenced with an introductory speech, followed by the welcoming of priests and traditional rituals like garlanding and lighting the lamp. The cultural extravaganza included captivating performances such as a prayer dance, group song, semi-classical dance and a skit. Arpita Sinha, a second-year BBA student, delivered an engaging speech.
Xavier Day 2023 – Skit Team
The highlight of the day was a speech by Fr. Principal and Fr. Vice Principal, emphasizing the significance of Xavier Day. A Nagpuri dance, a wishing song and a vote of thanks by Sumit Modak added to the festive atmosphere.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Radha Mahali under the guidance of Vice Principal Fr. Dr. Mukti Clarence. The presence of Fr. Dr. E. A. Francis, Fr. Sebastian Puthenpura, Fr. Dayanidhi Bisoi, along with faculty members, added to the grace of the occasion. The Xavier Day celebration was a testament to the unity, diversity and vibrancy that defines XITE.
