XITE College will be celebrating National Youth Day on Jan.18th (actual date 12th). This year it will be virtual through MS Teams. The resource person for this occasion will be Prof. Manish Singhal faculty at XLRI. He will deliberate upon the topic: “Swami Vivekananda’s Timeless Message for India’s Youth.” Time 12.00 – 1.00 pm. All the students and Faculty will join the session before the scheduled time and conduct yourselves as per the expectations.
Prof. Manish is the author of Spirituality at Work: A Study of Indian Non-profit Organizations (2010) and a faculty at XLRI-Jamshedpur since April 2006. He completed his Ph.D. in Behavioral Sciences at IIM Calcutta. In between MBA and Ph.D., six years he dedicated as a non-salaried missionary at Vivekananda Kendra, (H. Qr. Kanyakumari). This spiritually oriented service mission helped him delve into the true import of the Indian cultural heritage to bring out what is relevant for himself and valuable for modern society.
