The Economics Department of XITE College organized a seminar on “The Union Budget 2022: Insights, Emerging Opportunities and Challenges” at 10.30 am on February 18, 2022 in the College Seminar Hall. The speakers were student representatives of the Economics Department, Prof. Shailesh K. Dubey, Prof. Nishit K. Singh and Dr. Pompi Sengupta. The welcome address was given by Dr Sanchita G. Chowdhury, the Coordinator of the Department. Fr. Principal, Dr. E. A. Francis, SJ concluded the session by motivating and enlightening the students with its practical application. All the participants (students of Economics and 1st year BBA, B.Com, BA English and Faculty) actively participated in the event. The seminar was a great success and all enjoyed.
