The Youth Club of XITE College organized the Master Chef Competition on 5th March 2022. About forty students put up their kitchen and the sales counter in the College premises. The group consisting of Eshika, Shraddha, Ruchika, Lily and Ayushman won the first position. Their preparation of sizzling sandwiches along with Phucka’s became hot selling items. Sanjana, Sapna, Kusum, Namrata and Vartika prepared Dahivada and Black Currant squash that won them second position. The competition was judged by Dr. Partha Priya Das and Mr. A.K. Srivastava, XLRI.
Prof. Nishit Singh, Mentor Youth club, appreciated their entrepreneurial ideas and effort while Prof. Dr. Bharti Varshney, Co-Mentor of the Youth Club discussed with the students about the marketing and in-shop promotion strategies and Prof. Dr. Radha Mahali, Co-Mentor of the Youth Club guided the students to understand risk management possibilities.
