Community Services Club
In a heartwarming endeavor, XITE College’s Community Services Club orchestrated a visit to Mother Teresa‘s Missionaries of Charity. On this enlightening journey, the first-year students, under the benevolent guidance of Principal Fr. E.A. Francis, S.J., along with Prof. Stuti Rag and Prof. Amit Chaturvedi, visited Shishu Bhawan (Orphanage) and Nirmal Hriday (Old Age Home) on December 16, 2023.
This compassionate initiative aimed to instill empathy and understanding among the students towards the challenges faced by the residents of these noble institutions. Led by their innate spirit of service, the volunteers actively engaged, contributing positively to the environment. The visit left an indelible mark on the hearts of both the students and the beneficiaries.
