On the special occasion of Teachers’ Day, students from the Business Management Department of XITE Gamharia had the privilege of visiting the Tata Steel Archives at the Centre for Excellence. Organized in collaboration with the Jamshedpur Management Association (JMA), this visit was a unique opportunity to learn from the Tata Group, a global pioneer in management practices and industrial excellence.
Key Highlights of the Visit
1. Tata Steel Archives
Students delved into the rich history of the Tata Group, exploring its evolution, landmark achievements, and its enduring legacy of ethical business practices. The archives provided a treasure trove of lessons in leadership, innovation and sustainability.
2. Art Gallery
The visit included a tour of the Centre for Excellence’s Art Gallery, where students experienced a stunning collection of art that highlighted India’s cultural and creative diversity.
3. P.N. Bose Geological Centre
At the P.N. Bose Geological Centre, students gained insights into the geological discoveries that laid the foundation for India’s industrial revolution, furthering their understanding of the symbiotic relationship between science and industry.
