On the feast day of Eid-Ul-Fitr (22/04/2023, Saturday) a friendly cricket match was organized between XITE College, Gamharia and Xavier School boys in the XITE Campus. The match was of 10 overs each. Fr. E.A. Francis, the Principal appreciated and motivated the players with a short message. Fr. Mukti, Vice – Principal inaugurated the match. Dr Pramod and Mr. Vikas Sir, the School Sports’ Teacher and so on were present in the inaugural ceremony. A good number of people watched the contest and cheered their team.
Mr Pratik Agarwal was given the Man of the Match award. From the College team, Mr Pratik Agarwal scored 103 runs while Mr Bimal Barjo scored 60 runs. Mr Manav Joshi took 3 wickets while Mr Aman Raj took 2 wickets from the College side. The College team won the match which was officiated by Mr Arvind & Vicky. Fr Mukti gave away the trophy and awards.
