On 15th May 2023, XITE College organized Capacity Building and Personality Development Program for undergraduate and postgraduate female students and it was sponsored by the NCW, Govt. of India. This program aimed to develop and strengthen the skills, abilities, processes, and resources among the female students. Around 250 female students from different colleges in Jamshedpur have participated and benefited from this program.
The session started by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries followed by the welcome address by Dr. Fr. Francis, SJ, principal of XITE College. In his address, he emphasized on the importance of confidence, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and logical reasoning in professional life.
The program was divided into three sessions. The resource persons were Dr. Monika Uppal. Vice Principal of DBMS College for Education, Prof. Shalu Kant, Department of English, XITE College, and Prof. Ria Basu, Department of English, XITE College. Prof. Akinchan Xaxa, XITE College took question-answer session and proposed the vote of thanks. The program was anchored by Dr. Sanchita Ghosh Chowdhury, XITE College.
