The first-year students made an enriching industrial visit to CTC India Pvt. Ltd., a leading

manufacturing company based in Jamshedpur. It reinforced the practical aspects of their

academic curriculum while motivating them to strive for excellence in their professional

journeys. To engage students in a critical discussion, a debate competition was organized
among the students of 1st year. The activity aimed to develop critical thinking, public

speaking skills and an understanding of the economic and social implications of privatizing

PSU banks. The department organized a departmental seminar on 29th June 2024 on the
theme ‘Adapting Business and Economy to Global Transformation’. The seminar was well

attended by students and faculty of the department. Fr. (Dr.) Mukti Clarence, S.J., Vice

Principal of XITE Gamharia (Autonomous) highlighted key points focusing on the

importance of the theme in today’s competitive world and congratulated the department for
successfully conducting the seminar. He advised the students to undertake research and add

value to their personal lives.
