Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce at XITE, Gamharia (Autonomous), was established in 2012
with a commitment to providing quality education and fostering excellence in performance.
The department currently offers a B.Com (Hons.) course and consistently demonstrates
dedication to the holistic development of its students, preparing them to excel in their
academic and professional pursuits.
Since its inception, the department has achieved remarkable academic success, maintaining a

100% pass rate with the majority of students securing first-division marks. In the present
academic year, 33.33% of the students graduated with distinction marks, while the rest
achieved first division results. The consistent top rankings of the department’s students in
Kolhan University underscore their commitment to academic excellence and the department’s
high educational standards.
