Her Bitter Benevolence: The change for the better.
Enamoured of him she was,
Wait, Not just him,
Enamoured of All she was,
Every petal, Every blade of grass,
Blossomed and gleamed
By her tender touch;
Every desolated face
Bloomed by the glimpse,
Of her seraphic smile;
But Alas!
What made her warm heart,
So stone cold, hard like a rock?
Behold! Now it is indomitable like the mountain,
Undeterred by the shores of misty malice,
That once made an ocean of tears roll down her cheeks;
The eyes that once yearned to look into his,
Now dream of shining with pride;
The heart that once poured out compassion,
Now burns with the zest of touching the zenith;
The fire within continues to burn,
She still is passionate and pure;
Oh! Of course She’s benevolent,
But this benevolence is a bit bitter,
The change for the Better.
