Depletion of Natural Resources
The depletion of Natural Resources is one of the highlighting issue. As population and
industrial activities are increasing, available resources are being used at a higher rate.
Natural Resources are those raw materials which are provided by the earth that are essential
for human beings and economic activities. Natural Resources can be classified into two
main categories: Renewable and non renewable resources. Renewable resources are those
that can be replenished naturally eg - sunlight, wind energy etc where as non renewable
resources are those that are limited and cannot be replaced once consumed.
Depletion of Natural Resources occurs due to overpopulation. As years are passing the
population is increasing which leads to higher demand for food , water and energy resulting
in a rapid increase in the consumption of natural Resources. Increase in the growth of
factories is also one of the reasons of depletion of natural resources. Expansion of cities
leads to destruction and increased consumption of land and water.
The depletion of natural resources effects not only the environment but also an human
society. As forests are being cut down and water resources are being exploited which results
in pollution. Humans are excessively using fossil fuels it leads to global warming and
climate change .
Natural Resources are as important as heart is important for our body . Natural Resources
can be seen as a heart of the planet earth . It's our responsibility to save the resources. Strict
actions should be taken to save the resources.
In conclusion, depletion of natural resources is a more major issue affecting health of our
planet . It's everyone's duty to use the natural resources efficiently.
