On 13th September 2024, XITE Gamharia witnessed an inspiring and highly interactive Design Thinking Workshop, led by the esteemed Shraddha Agarwal, Director of IZZKI Tech Solutions and an alumna of IIM Indore. This workshop, organized by Yi Jamshedpur‘s Innovation Vertical, brought students face-to-face with creative problem-solving methods that are at the forefront of today’s business and technology landscape.
Design Thinking is a dynamic, human-centered approach to innovation, which emphasizes understanding user needs, brainstorming creative solutions, and prototyping those ideas into practical applications. The goal of the workshop was to equip students with these valuable skills, enabling them to approach real-world challenges with innovative, design-based solutions.

Shraddha Agarwal’s Leadership: As an industry expert with a wealth of experience in business and technology, Shraddha guided students through the process of identifying and solving problems in a structured yet creative manner. Her insights, drawn from years of professional experience and education at IIM Indore, were invaluable in helping students understand how to apply Design Thinking principles to their own projects and ideas.
Hands-On Learning: The workshop encouraged active participation, allowing students to engage in group discussions, collaborative brainstorming sessions and real-time problem-solving exercises. Innovative Approaches to Business and Technology: Students explored how Design Thinking can revolutionize industries, focusing on practical ways to implement these approaches in sectors such as technology, business and entrepreneurship. Yi Jamshedpur and CII Collaboration:
The workshop was coordinated and executed by Ashish Singh, the Nodal Officer of CII Yi XITE, who worked diligently to bring this opportunity to the students. Ashish’s involvement ensured the smooth running of the workshop and maximized its impact on participants. The event was also graced by key faculty members, including Assist. Prof. Akinchan Xaxa, Assist. Prof. Dr. Swati Singh and Assist. Prof. Reetika Singh, who were present to support and encourage students in their learning journey.
The collaboration between Yi Jamshedpur and XITE Gamharia continues to foster an ecosystem where students are exposed to cutting-edge ideas, methodologies and industry practices, preparing them for the challenges of the modern world.
