As part of our commitment to fostering a safe and respectful campus environment, a Workshop on Sexual Harassment was conducted at XITE Gamharia. This important session was successfully organized and coordinated by Mr. Ashish Singh, the Nodal Officer for CII Yi XITE and Head of Branding & Communication.
The event aimed to create awareness among students and faculty about sexual harassment, its implications, and preventive measures, reflecting our collective responsibility towards a harassment-free community.
Key Participants and Contributions:
Dr. Swati Singh, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell, played a pivotal role in leading discussions and institutional guidelines.
From Yi Jamshedpur, we had the esteemed presence of Mr. Harsh Kedia, Yuva Chair, and Ms. Mokshita Gautam, who enriched the session with their experiences and expert views; providing valuable insights into legal frameworks.
Faculty members Assistant Professor Sushmita Choudhury Sen and Assistant Professor Raj Bansal provided unwavering support during the event.
Harpreet Singh managed the anchoring with exceptional poise, ensuring a seamless flow throughout the program, while Suhani Kumari expressed gratitude with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks.
