At XITE Gamharia (Autonomous), community values and gratitude are at the heart of our culture. This was beautifully exemplified by the Community Service Club, which undertook a thoughtful initiative to spread joy and appreciation during the festive season.
Before Diwali, the club organized a Diwali candle stall on campus. The stall not only brought festive cheer but also instilled the values of entrepreneurship and community service in our students. After successfully selling the candles, the club decided to use the profits for a noble cause.
In a heartwarming gesture, the club chose to express their gratitude by gifting woolen caps and scarves to the college’s dedicated support staff. The gift distribution ceremony was held on campus and was graced by Dr. (Fr.) Mukti Clarence, SJ, who felicitated the support staff members and acknowledged their invaluable contribution to the XITE family.
This initiative, coordinated by Assist. Prof. Amit Chaturvedi, highlighted the importance of compassion, community service and the spirit of giving.
At XITE Gamharia, we are proud of such efforts that reflect our commitment to Academic Excellence With Human Values. Initiatives like these remind us to cherish those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to support our academic journey.
Let us all continue to build a culture of gratitude and service!
