Data Analysis Workshop 2023

The Department of Economics successfully conducted a two-day workshop on “Data Analysis” from 30/12/2023 to 01/12/2023. Aimed at bridging the skill gap in data management jobs, the workshop covered various aspects of data analysis.

Day 1:

Data Analysis Workshop 2023 – Day 1

• Dr. Sanchita Gosh Chowdhary initiated the workshop with an insightful speech on data analysis.
• Dr. Radha Mahali delved into sources of data and methods of collection.
• Dr. Kumari Anamika, an external expert, discussed the practical applications of managing statistical data.

Day 2:

Data Analysis Workshop 2023 – Day 2

• Dr. Rajesh Kumar Rana conducted a hands-on session covering Excel basics and descriptive and inferential analysis.

The workshop equipped students with skills for data gathering, recording, presentation, analysis and interpretation. This newfound knowledge empowers students to conduct research projects in their academic journey.
