On the evening of 5th October 2024, XITE Gamharia came alive with vibrant colors, rhythmic beats and an infectious festive spirit as the college hosted its much-anticipated Navratri Beats 2024 celebration. Organized just before the commencement of the Puja holidays, this event was a resounding success, embodying the essence of unity in diversity and respect for all faiths.
In collaboration with LiVE PUKKA Events, Navratri Beats brought students, faculty and staff together to enjoy an unforgettable night of Garba, Dandiya, Music and delicious Food. The evening resonated with the joyous atmosphere of Navratri, a celebration that truly embraced the cultural and spiritual diversity at XITE.
The event was energized by skilled Garba and Dandiya instructors, ZIN Usha Gope and ZIN Deepshikha, whose captivating performances and interactive guidance had everyone on their feet. Their presence ensured that even beginners could participate, creating a lively atmosphere where everyone felt included. The vibrant beats of the DJ further amplified the enthusiasm, setting the perfect rhythm for Garba and Dandiya dance.
Adding to the event’s significance was the presence of XITE’s beloved dignitaries, Dr. (Fr.) E. A. Francis, SJ and Dr. (Fr.) Mukti Clarence, SJ, who blessed the gathering and extended their warm wishes to all attendees. Their support and presence underscored the college’s commitment to celebrating cultural traditions and nurturing an environment of inclusivity.
The event’s seamless planning and execution were made possible by the relentless efforts of Ashish Singh from the Branding & Communication Department, who, along with a dedicated team of student organizers, ensured every detail was meticulously managed. Riya Kumari anchored the event with grace and enthusiasm, engaging the audience and adding a lively touch to the proceedings. As the celebration drew to a close, Riya Agarwal delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone involved in making Navratri Beats a phenomenal success.
