Dream – Process to

                          Reach Destiny BBA 1st Year

-“Dream, Dream, Dream…Dream transform into thoughts and thoughts results in action” is a popular quote Annual Magazine
by Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam. What is this dream? What are the thoughts and where are the actions ? When you
see this perspective of our nation, our country, our India, this question spreads out into its colossal form. But
the very genesis of this whole process of thoughts starts from a very basic question. What is India? What is the
idea of India? The real answer is its actually a dream of every Indian. To see our nation as the apex of every
individual criterion of prosperity. To build this nation, to change from what it is now to what it should be. After
the independence of our country, there was a dearth of resources and we started our journey with hundreds of
challenges, (which every newly independent country has to face). Though we had a lot of difficulties,
challenges, and barriers in our path, but we faced it. Not only we faced it, we overcame and showed the world
that though we are late in the race but , we are not out of the race. However one thing was straight to all
Indians and all adhere to it right from the beginning. It was that 'Dream'. We have entered into an era when
the whole world is counting on us on our space research . Whether it is Alphabet, Google, Microsoft and
likewise hundreds of other MNCs they all admit the excellence and brilliance of Indians in their field. There is
a sense of credibility which Indians from every walks of life have achieved all over the world.

There is another topic that comes in correlation with this idea of India. And that is what I think about this
dream, or more broadly what a student studying in various universities and colleges at present think about
this dream. It has been prominently noticed that a social awakening has taken place regarding the worth of
education in every stratum of society. In most of the universities and colleges, students are stepping ahead and
getting involved in NGOs to provide education to them who are still deprived of it. They are participating in
various other activities which one way or the other are helping the deprived ones to rise and shine. On the other
hand, young India is setting milestones in the field which were dominated by other nations. PV Sindhu, Hima
Das to Mary Kom are athletes, proving themselves on international levels. The collective effort of every
Indian will take this Nation to another height and each of us very well understand this. There is a popular
quote in a film that” great power comes with great responsibilities”. But what is this power and how it is
related to that dream; what is this responsibility . Power is of 130 crore people. Responsibilities to give this
Nation Wings to fly. Our country is really unique. It's the only country which has a different language every
hundred kilometres. It's the only country to have the largest number of religious beliefs. We celebrate this
diversity and share that common dream which makes us unite with so much diversity.

India is said to be the youngest country in the time we are living now . With 50% of the population below 25
years of age and 65% of the population below the age 65 and being the second most populated country, we
have the most energetic young blood around the globe. We all know we have entered to the next decade this is
the moment when not only India, but the whole world is looking at our youth with hope. We hold a position
when we will define how the world is going to be in the next 50 years . Young blood is nothing less than a double
edged sword. It's our responsibility to put this flood of Ideas ,innovation and creativity in a path that will
change the world forever. But if we fail to grasp the opportunity when a country is at its youngest age, then we
will miss the golden opportunity that is not going to come in the coming decades once it has passed.

Mahatma Gandhi once said “if you want to reach real peace in this world we should start educating
children”. Therefore along with that dream we share responsibility too. A responsibility to bring in a
collective improvement and upliftment of students and children of all sections of the society. If you observe an
aeroplane, each part of its construction is meant to serve different purposes but they are all used for a single
aim, to help it fly. Likewise, the idea of innovative India can be realised only if every section of our society
which embellishes our beautiful country come in a single line and contribute from their end to give this
country wings to fly. With the advent of this new decade every positive initiative will help us rise and every
mistake will make us fall. This is the most crucial time for the youth at present who will be leading our country
in the educational, athletic ,political , administrative and social fields which are being shaped in our colleges
and universities because they are the ones who will give us THE WINGS TO FLY towards this INNOVATIVE
          INDIA.
