Community Service Club

The Community Service Club of XITE Gamharia (Autonomous) believes that service to
the marginalised communities is crucial to the society, nation and the world to protect its
values like Equality and Justice. The club imparts a clear understanding and knowledge of
community service to its stakeholders to plan events for satisfying the basic needs of
marginalised communities. The club enables its stakeholders to make the right decisions
and choices from the perspective of community services. The club provides a deep
understanding of the social, national and global advantages to its stakeholders that can be
harnessed by them by serving the marginalised communities. The club organises visits
and services to places like orphanage, old age home, home of differently abled people,
villages etc through which learners are empathised and sensitised about the perspectives
and problems of the destitute and the marginalised communities. Some of the activities
conducted by the club are as follows.

The Club under the guidance of Fr Principal E A Francis S.J., organized candles selling

the process of buying and selling during the entire event. The profit earned from the sale
was used to present a token of love and appreciation to the support staff of the college.
The club organized a Clothes Donation Drive on 10th December 2024, spreading warmth
and hope among the destitutes in Bistupur, Jamshedpur. This initiative not only brought
