A Tribute to a Valiant Father Batch BBA 2014-2017
( Atouching tribute of a daughter to her father who valiantly
fought train dacoits before his death on 24th June 2017.)
Wondering where to start from;
Incidents, cold or warm.
Being a father is a tough job;
Since the day I lost you, all I do is, sob.
You sacrificed your life for my future;
Went through the 3 day torture.
No wonder how much they harmed you;
I do not know from where did such negativity grew.
You are a hero dad, you fought them strong enough;
Their motive would not have been fulfilled, because you stayed tough.
Ask a daughter, "How strong is your love for your dad?" ;
"I will not forget him even after I lose my memory or go mad".
I miss him each day and each second;
Maybe a little more, because to normal life, I am unable to blend.
A father can even die for you;
Do things for you, of which you do not even have a clue.
My dad is a hero, and yours too;
I know that you are gone, but I miss you.

LIFE AT XITE.... Batch 2015-2018
“Whenever you go and whatever ends you pursue, you must always fulfil the trust reposed in you by your
nation, parents and alma mater”-said by Samar Mubarakmand.
When I was in the first year, I was a very introvert person. XITE gave me the platform where I started using my
talents in the right manner. After coming to the third year, I almost became an interactive person as well as I,
participated in co-curricular activities with much enthusiasm. I am very proud to be a part of the Xavier
family. The teachers were so supportive and turned such boring lectures into more interactive ones with fun for
us to grasp and understand the subjects. We had class activities such as making presentations which made it
easier to learn and gave us a clear concept. Our Dean Mr. Tony Castleton was a strict and disciplined person,
but at the same time, he was very hilarious. Our former Principal Fr. Joseph Surin was an honourable man. He
was best known for his 'shayaris'. XITE was my second home. College life was fun: we bunked classes, shared
tiffins, cracked jokes and apart from all these things, I had become a part of a small family which will be
etched in my memory. The best thing I learned from XITE was, “Marks do not define a person, it is the skills
and the right attitude which makes a person better.”
