Young Entrepreneurial Ashish Tiwari
Wings BBA 2nd Year
We hear 'curiosity is the best teacher'. And the level of curiosity amongst the young Annual Magazine
students is amazing.
Young minds have a lot of power to create, think differently, and bring ideas and thoughts
which are out of the box, having the ability to tread alone and having the courage to take
up new challenges and new risks.
Young students can sometimes come up with great ideas and have all the ability to
become an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur is an initiator, challenger and a driver;
someone that creates something new, either an initiative, a business or a company. He or
she is the beginning of a venture, project or an activity.
Another strong point with these young students with new and fresh ideas possess are that;
they don't start a business just to make money but to make a difference.
Entrepreneurship seems to run in the genes of these young students. And I would like you
to meet such star achievers.
Sreelakshmi Suresh, the youngest Web designer and CEO in the world and winner of
numerous national and international awards, embarked into entrepreneurship at the age
of 10 by establishing her own venture named 'e-Design technologies'. 'e-Design' is a
website designing company, offering services like web designing, web development, SEO
and logo designing.
Other aspiring young entrepreneurs are Sharnan Kumaran and Sanjay Kumaran.
Sharnan Kumaran – a 15 year old studying in the 11th grade and his brother Sanjay
Kumar, 13 year old studying in the 9th grade in Chennai, are the youngest mobile
application programmers in India. The duo has co- founded a company called 'Go
dimensions', a technology company which focuses on developing simple solutions for the
digital world.
Youngsters are increasingly realizing that entrepreneurship is an important tool for the
country's economy and industrial development. Arjun Santosh Kumar, a 10th grade
student of 'Velammal Vidyashram' in Chennai, is the founder and CEO of his company
'LateraLogics', technology company which focuses on 'custom apps development' web
development and consulting. Kumar has also developed two award winning apps at a
tender age of 13.
Entrepreneurship did not exist a few years ago, but at this point of time school students
know about it and are willing to experiment with their ideas.
The majority of us wait for things to happen. But to our surprise, the generation next kids
are riding against the tide. Armed with innovative ideas and diverse skill-sets, these
youngsters are leaving no stones unturned to give shape to their entrepreneurial dreams.
It is encouraging to see the initiatives taken up by these youngsters, who have a dream to
follow and especially an 'entrepreneurial dream with wings'
