SARJAN – THE LITERARY CLUB
           Introduction

           The Literary Club stands at the heart of our college's dynamic creative and intellectual
           culture, serving as a sanctuary where ideas, creativity and self-expression thrive. More than
           just a hub for book enthusiasts, the club fosters a lively atmosphere that inspires students to
           explore the transformative power of words while developing a deep appreciation for
           literature, poetry and the arts.

           Mission -Our mission is to nurture creativity, critical thinking and communication skills
           through engaging activities such as book discussions, writing competitions, poetry readings
           and storytelling sessions.

           Objective - Literary Club aims to create an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity of
           thought and artistic expression. The club seeks to inspire members to connect with the world
           of literature in meaningful ways, recognizing its ability to shape perspectives and fuel
           innovation.

           Club Leadership
           Ms. Anjali Jha (Assistant Professor):The Head of the Literary Club, is a visionary leader
           with an innate love for literature and the arts. Known for her eloquence and organizational
           skills, Anjali brings fresh perspectives to the club, fostering an environment where ideas
           flourish and talents are nurtured.
           Dr. Swati Singh (Assistant Professor): Dr. Swati Singh, the Co-Head of the Literary Club.
           With her academic expertise and unwavering enthusiasm she serves as a guiding force for the
           club. With a profound love for literature and language she brings her enthusiasm and
           expertise to the forefront of literary activities within XITE College.
           Past Activities

           Last year the club has organized an array of exciting activities that have captivated
           participants and audiences alike. The event "Folk Tales in Indigenous Communities"
           celebrated the rich heritage and storytelling traditions of indigenous cultures, fostering
           appreciation for their timeless wisdom. An "Open Mic Competition" provided a platform for
           students to showcase their poetic, storytelling and performing talents, creating a lively and
           inclusive space for self-expression. Additionally, "Young Journalists: Capturing the World
           through Videos" encouraged budding journalists to explore their creative and critical
           perspectives by producing impactful visual narratives. These activities reflect the club’s
           commitment to nurturing creativity, promoting cultural awareness and inspiring innovation
           among students.
           Future Goal of the Club

           The Literary Club of our college envisions fostering a vibrant literary culture that nurtures
           creativity, critical thinking and expression among students. Our future goals include:
