Profile of XITE College Vision
XITE Coaching Centre (2003)
In 2003 it was started as a Coaching Centre by Fr.
P.D. Thomas, S.J. (former director of XLRI) at the
Trainee's Hostel in Tayo Colony to help the youth get
into reputed MBA schools and to qualify various
competitive exams. Fr. Thomas is a member of the
Society of Jesus (Jesuits) of Jamshedpur. The
Jesuits are pioneers in the field of Education and are
widely known as excellent educationists.
XITE College (2007)
In 2007 the College started offering degree
programmes BBA (Bachelor of Business
Administration) and subsequently B.Com {Bachelor
of Commerce (Honors)} and other programmes. The
main objective of the College is to groom the youth of
Jharkhand and neighbouring States both in
knowledge and skill, and make them capable of
understanding their responsibility towards building
our nation. The College has a large and flush green
campus with all facilitates and infrastructure. The
infrastructure in the campus include the College,
Hostels for the College Boys & Girls, Canteen, Xavier
School and a large playground with various sports
amenities. It also provides additional facilities such
as training on CAT, XAT, CMAT, Banking, Railway,
Tally, English, etc. to its students. Thus, the campus
is becoming a gamut of educational activities and
imparts quality and meaningful education to all
deserving students. At present, the College offers a
three year bachelor degree courses:
(1) Bachelor of Arts in Economics (BA Eco.
Honors)
(2) Bachelor in Commerce (B.Com Honors)
(3) Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA)
