MESSAGE FROM THE PROVINCIAL

I am delighted to witness XITE College achieve autonomous status from the UGC—an
extraordinary milestone that reflects the dedication and vision of its leadership, faculty, and
students. This new chapter brings greater academic freedom and innovation, further strengthening
XITE’s unwavering commitment to excellence.
I take immense pride in our students who have excelled academically, winning gold medals in
university examinations and securing admission to prestigious institutions such as the IIMs. Their
achievements are a testament to the college’s commitment to quality education and holistic
formation.
XITE’s mission extends beyond academics. Rooted in the Jesuit tradition of forming men and
women for others, the institution remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering tribal and
disadvantaged communities. This dedication ensures that education continues to serve as a
powerful force for transformation and inclusion.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the faculty and staff for their dedication and tireless efforts in
shaping young minds. Their commitment makes XITE a nurturing environment where students
grow intellectually, socially, and spiritually.
The theme of this 13th edition of Xavier’s Chimes 2025—Echoes of the Past, Visions of the
Future, and Journey Within—beautifully encapsulates the spirit of reflection, aspiration, and self-
discovery. As we honor our past, we must also envision a future shaped by wisdom and guided by
inner strength.
